Maintaining your Bike

Something new we are introducing this year in order to help our biking community and in particular new riders is a basic maintenance evening, whereby we will show you what to do to keep your bike safe for you to ride.

We are running a short course which should answer your questions about general maintenance and help you look after your bike. This will take place on 25th March from 6.30pm and last approximately 1.5 hours and best of all it's FREE!

The course will cover the following:
  • Checking Tyre tread, condition and pressures
  • Checking oil level and topping up
  • Chain clean and lube
  • Safety checks - lights, steering and suspension
  • Other things you should watch out for
  • How to safely pick up your bike should it have been knocked over or dropped (we've all done it!)
Places will be limited so booking is essential - please click here to register yourself for 25th March and if this proves to be popular, we'll add further dates.
